Community Education

Our Vision

To create a center for the community that offers access to resources and healthy relationships, leadership and skill development, and alternative and supplementary education.  All of our models are based in upholding a participatory approach and shared decision-making in order to build this center with and not only for the community.  The grand vision of our Oversight Committee is to develop a full-day community school that has facilities and classes open to the community throughout the day, complimenting what is already provided by the school.

Our Mission

Enlace Chicago partners with schools in the Little Village to create Community Schools. Community School is an educational and cultural center that is open to the entire community. We are building youth and adult leadership community development and fun, safe and alternative learning environments that include school, family and community.
