About the Clinic

​The Enlace Community Activism Legal Clinic serves the Little Village community. The weekly clinic provides free legal resources for residents of Little Village. The clinic operates every Tuesday evening, opening at 5:00 pm. Individuals and families are seen on a walk in basis.

Areas of Service​

 

​Immigration: family petitions, Uvisa and VAWA cases, ​citizenship, deportation defense

 

Criminal Records: adult and juvenile criminal expungement and sealing

Housing: eviction, Section 8 or CHA issues, security deposit issues, conditions violations, foreclosure, refinance

Employment and Labor: employment discrimination, overtime and wage, family and medical leave, unemployment appeals

Education: suspension and expulsion defense, special education and disability rights

 

Consumer Issues: bankruptcy chapter 7 & 8, payday loans, small claims, debt collection, unfair trade and credit practices

 

All services are free of charge.
